Today you will need to finish up your assignment from yesterday, the check register assignment. If you are finished, you will download the "Clipart Scavenger Hunt Document" and fill it out. Be careful not to distort the boxes and place the image files without distorting the words in each box as well. Good Luck!
Welcome Back to the blog!
Hello class,
I hope that you all had a great weekend and you are ready to get back hard to work. The schedule has changed recently due to Mrs. Monk being sick last Friday. So, we need to do two assignments in one day instead of two. Mrs. Monk will be back again tomorrow with more career lessons for you to complete.
Here is today's assignment:
I hope that you all had a great weekend and you are ready to get back hard to work. The schedule has changed recently due to Mrs. Monk being sick last Friday. So, we need to do two assignments in one day instead of two. Mrs. Monk will be back again tomorrow with more career lessons for you to complete.
Here is today's assignment:
- First, you will need to open the file titled "Checking Assignment File". Remember, all links are located on the right.
- The very first thing you need to do once it is opened is to save it to the "My Documents" folder. You need to rename it to the following name when you place it in your "My Documents" folder. Name the file "checks" followed by your initials. For example, mine would say: "checksCV".
- When you open the file, there is a red cell at the top for your name. Type in your full name.
- At the bottom of the worksheet, you will need to click on the yellow "Checks 1" tab.
- Notice that your name appears in the Payee Information section as well as your signature. Cool, huh!!!
- Now, you need to fill out the checks very carefully. Once you have it entered correctly, the cell will turn green instead of red. (All dates should be in the year 2008.) If they do not turn green, then it is not enetered in correctly in the check. TRY AGAIN.
- Once you have finished, you can select the blue "Score" tab at the bottom and it will show you your score for the Checks assignment. You do not need to do the Register assignmetn at this time.
- Save your work again and make sure it is in the "My Documents" folder. Raise your hand and either myself or my aide will come by and check it off.
- GOOD LUCK!!!
